Painting Description

La Sagrada De Familia is part of Alice Kwan’s Wanderlust series.

Wanderlust is inspired by places Alice has been to and places which she wants to visit one day.

It’s a combination of a bucket list and a public record of where she’s been. Painting them and hoping to evoke viewers motivation to explore the world we live in.

Although it’s been nearly a decade, the amazement never disappear living in the part of the world where Alice is living.

‘I still marvel when surrounded by European art and architecture. I especially enjoy the look of stunning masonry and stones reflected by sunshine.’

This sense of admiration and respect expressed in her art is a small tribute to thousands years of art history.
